Knife Handle Options
Stabilized Hardwoods, Synthetic Composites, Antler & Ivory
Todd uses a number of natural hardwoods for his knife handles.
Each wood has been stabilized to minimize warping, shrinking, cracking and discoloration.
The different woods vary in color from a blond boxelder burl and tiger maple, to darker walnut burl, ironwood and koa. Redwood, cocobolo and rosewood have more color throughout the grain.
If you prefer maximum color and excitement in the grain, take a look at the numerous colored options of boxelder burl. A variety of vibrant colors include black, brown, blue, red, orange, green, and a mix of multicolor options.
The boxelder burl grain is fantastic as well.
